26 Aug '04 - 168 W - + 21 - 10 Interpretation of the last ultrasound

We talked with Dr. Botti this afternoon, and he gave us his interpretation of the last ultrasound. He said that basically everything is as it has been so far. The stomach is still hard to see, and the heart problems are still there, but he's right about the appropriate weight. The only new thing is that some areas of his skin are thicker than they should be. He said that this could be a symptom of the baby's heart not functioning correctly. So, they are going to try and do some more ultrasounds, one up in our wing of the hospital, and another downstairs in radiology after that. If the thick skin problem gets worse, they are going to say that it's time to have a baby. I'm not sure if that would mean discontinuing the medication, inducing, or doing a C-section. I guess we'll find out more tomorrow or the next day, or at least on monday, at the next ultrasound.

Do you know when the other ultrasounds will be done?
