31 Jan '06 - 57 W - + 15 - 17 a quick healer

Judging from the way things looked when I changed his bandage just now, the hole from the g-tube sitet appears to have mostly closed up already.  Obviously, I won't be throwing him up in the air and catching him any time soon, but that's pretty cool to see that he's healing so fast.
Hip Hip Hooray. The tube is out. Alex is on his own. What a big boy!!!

Great news!! Our little miracle has come a long way in one year. We can’t Thank enough the wonderful people who helped guide Alex through his first year. Boy he caught up pretty fast with those teeth huh? He’s not biting anyone yet is he?

That is just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cool about Alex’s tube being gone and that the hole is healing so nicely. I particularly appreciated reading that the hold was about the size of a pencil. I really had no idea, but had these visions of a hole the size of a half-dollar or something like that in order to get a “tube” in! I am so thankful for his recovery, his growth, his parents and his village. With love and prayerful gratitude,
