Alex is continuing to make good progress with his speech.  He's now repeating a good portion of what I say, which is amazing considering that he hardly talked at all a month ago.  He's still pretty hard to understand if you aren't with him 24/7, but he's getting better all the time.  There has also been some progress with his eating.  We've lately been able to give him larger pieces of some foods, like his grilled cheese, and PB&J sandwiches, generally without any issues.  I'm not sure if the change is from his last dilation, or if we are just getting braver, but it's encouraging either way.  He's also discovered fruit in a much bigger way.  He's been loving berries, whether they are straw-, blue-, rasp-, or cherries and has even started eating grapes (as long as they are cut up a little).

The baby is still hanging in there.  I'm at 36 weeks now, and they consider 37 weeks full term, so this boy has a pretty good chance of being healthy at birth.  At my appt. yesterday, they found that I am starting to dilate a little (only about 1-2 cm so far).  I don't think it means much though...I could still make it to my due date this way.  They have scheduled an ultrasound for Monday to make sure that he's head-down.  Other than that, things continue to go smoothly.  I am really looking forward to the day when someone ELSE can hold the little bugger though.
