Well, we've finally put together the Baby's crib.  We haven't got a name picked out yet, but if he comes along now, at least he'll have a place to sleep.

Yesterday, Alex had quite the social calendar.  He went to two birthday parties.  I didn't get to go to the first one, as I was tied up doing yardwork, but during the second one, he got to eat all sorts of authentic Polish food.  Yum!  Kari and I got to go out to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 last night.  It was entertaining, and I wasn't disappointed.

After a rather bad day at work (the details of which are unneccesary), I thought that it would be therapeutic to write about all of the good things that have been happening lately. First off, Alex has been making leaps and bounds in both his vocabulary, and, well ... just leaps and bounds. He managed to jump and get both feet off the ground the other day. We also found out last night that without pants, that boy is fast. He's a bolt of streaking lightning when he doesn't want a diaper on. He found some bubble wrap, and had some

We went out for japanese hibachi for mother's day, and he got to use chopsticks. He was suprisingly good with them.

He's been learning to say words constantly. He's said so many new words recently, it's been hard to keep up with them. He's learned pretty much everybody's name who visits, from Nana, to PaPa, to Abby, to Uncle Bill, even Kujo, and he said "Hi Nelson" after looking at a picture of our friend Nelson. He's definately becoming a parrot, repeating any word that he finds interesting. He's also made a point to learn the names of all of the foods that he likes, for example blueberries and ice cream.

Grandma Judy came over for a few days last week and was incredibly helpful. She weeded, mulched, took down wallpaper, and even painted. We were incredibly grateful, because these were things that we would never get the time to do, and would probably put off until next year.

Nana and Papa Norton stopped by for Sunday to Memorial Day. We all had a BBQ on Sunday night, and hung out for a lazy Monday. Papa, Alex, and I went down to the river and caught some minnows to put in the fish tank. We all had a good time.

Right now, Alex is laughing in his sleep, giggling repeatedly. It's rather cute.

Oh, and there's more pictures!
