Alex had his esophagael dilation on Monday, and that went off as well as can be expected. There was a small 1/2 hour delay before his surgery, due to some rearrangement of the surgeon's schedule, but it wasn't too bad. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Grandma Norton stopped by. We all had a grand time, and explored Albany, eating at a Mexican place that we have never been to before. Alex saw some buses, and they may have turned into his favorite thing. Every time he sees a bus now, he waves to it. On Thursday, we went over some friends' house, and Kari got to go to the sympony. On Friday, we went to a night out with the Niskayuna Moms Group, and ate dinner at a restaurant that overlooks the airport runway, and got to see planes taking off and landing.
This weekend promises to be a little more relaxed, with only a BBQ on Sunday, and the rest of the time to be chill/catch-up-on-cleaning time.
