Raghad (Alex's OT) is saying goodbye tomorrow, on Dan's birthday. She has been awesome, and has been with us twice a week since May, so it's a little bittersweet for us. That being said, Alex is now done. No more weekly visits from PT or OT, and Early Intervention is now closing his case. Alex's feeding tube hole is closed completely, and is almost flat now, meaning that the depression from the hole has already smoothed out. And it's only been a week! Raghad told me on Tuesday that Alex is a normally developing 17-month-old now...there aren't any behavorial or physical red flags that she sees to keep an eye on. He's just managed to break every "rule" of being kid like him. We're so proud!
