Well, we all made it through the night. This stomach flu is rather nasty. Alex seems to be mostly back to normal, although his appetite is a little off, which is not unexpected. Kari is in the "better but not good" stage at the moment, and I managed to eat my first solid food in the last 24 hours just now, so we're on the road to recovery.+ 0 - 0 | § ¶ugh
Seems like some sort of stomach flu is making its way around our house. Alex had it yesterday and is mostly getting over it today. Kari started showing signs of it earlier today, and I just started getting signs myself. What a sorry bunch we are!+ 0 - 0 | § ¶Our team is disappearing!
Ever since Alex was born, we have had a team of people helping us to raise him and get to him to a healthy point. Well, today we discussed losing another person on that team. Alex's Physical Therapist has said that she doesn't believe Alex needs her anymore. If Early Intervention was to evaluate him as a new patient now, he wouldn't even be accepted into their program for gross motor development. So, it looks like Ginny will be here one more time, then Alex is on his own!
As for eating, Alex is still doing really well. He's only getting about 5 ounces per day of formula by tube now, and about 16 ounces of water. He should be off the formula entirely by Christmas! We're trying for a tubeless baby by spring!
