+ 0 - 0 | § Pictures as promised

I've put up some of the pictures from our trip to Maine.  http://thenortonzoo.com/gallery/maine2005  Kari and Alex are still in Maine at the moment, so I imagine that there will be some more pictures to come, but there are a ton of pictures so far.  As usual, if you like any of the pictures, and would like to print them out, please let us know, and we'll send you some higher quality pictures.  The copies that are up on the gallery are significantly reduced in quality, so as to make downloading and uploading them more reasonable.  We do have the higher quality pictures (and about 16x the size) that we could email or stick on a CD and mail to you on our computer at home.

+ 0 - 0 | § Vacation!

It's going to be hard to list all the things Alex has been able to do and see over the last week or so without filling this page.  We are in Maine this week, and have been boating, fishing, shopping, sightseeing, etc.  Alex has been in the boat (and was okay with it), in a small swimming pool (and tolerated it), in a hammock (and loved it)...he's gone to the LL Bean outlet in Freeport, and has seen a lighthouse and the ocean for the first time.  He's learned to say "Hi!' and wave to everyone, and has even said "dada"!  He's been getting all sorts of attention; from Aunt Tash and Uncle Don, and from Grandma and Grandpa Norton.  And we've only been here for 6 days or so!  Needless to say, we're having a blast.  When Dan goes home this weekend, he'll even post some pictures.  Tomorrow, we tackle Acadia National Park!
