He said MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday, Alex was in his Excersaucer, and wanted me to pick him up, so he looked at me with his arms up and said "mama!" I looked at him funny, then he did it again. And Dan heard him say it today, so it wasn't just me! Woo hoo!In other news, Alex's OT had a chat with the pediatrician, and though they are going to try to get a nutritionist involved and start weaning his milk to force him to eat orally more, the estimates for his tubeless days are more realistic now. His OT thinks that Alex will be between 2 and 3 when the tube bites the dust. That's okay too...I was thinking it could be as late as 4 or 5, so 2-3 sounds pretty manageable.
Alex got a new pair of sandals in the mail today. (Thanks Mammy!) THe problem is that Alex has never really worn shoes, so when Dan put them on him, he started "walking" (with help of course) like a cat walks in the snow. Put foot down, lift it back up and shake it. Put foot down, lift it back up and shake it. It was really funny because he had no idea what to do with his foot.
Anyway, I'm going to work on getting some new pictures up on the gallery, so look for some new ones, hopefully later tonight or tomorrow.
UPDATE: The pictures are located at http://thenortonzoo.com/gallery/album03. Enjoy and beware of the future blackmail material. Poor Alex!
